A HUDDERSFIELD housing association has been praised for its work.
Edgerton-based Sadeh Lok, a group formed in 1988 to serve the needs of black and minority ethnic communities, was given the thumbs up by the Audit Commission for the way it managed rent and involved residents.
But the group was criticised for its high level of rent arrears.
Graeme Foster, Audit Commission lead housing inspector, said: “Overall Sadeh Lok delivers a reasonable service and is committed to involving tenants and helping them to manage their income and pay rent.
“It now needs to ensure that tenants are more effectively involved in directing the future improvement of services.”
