Meet Shaie Lawson.
He may only be eight, but he’s the latest Huddersfield youngster to star on our screens.
Shaie appeared in the gripping ten-part crime drama The Five on Sky 1.
Playing the role of Henry Kenwood, Shaie is the son of the drama’s leading murder detective Danny Kenwood.
The Five detailed the story of four childhood friends who are reunited as adults after Danny begins to investigate the disappearance and alleged murder of their playmate Jesse.
Jesse disappeared while playing with Danny and friends Pru, Mark and Slade while playing in a park as 12-year-olds.
But years on, his DNA is found at a murder scene and it’s up to Shaie’s onset father Danny to solve it.

The thrilling series was based on the book by bestselling author Harlen Coben, with screenplay by BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning writer, Danny Brocklehurst.
Shaie, from Fartown , said he was extremely excited to be appearing in the show.
He said: “The people on set were really nice and everyone got along really well.
“I hope everyone is enjoying The Five.”
After landing the role, Shaie moved to Manchester to pursue his acting career.
His agent Jessica Bell said: “We are all so proud of Shaie and we’re really enjoying watching his performances in such a brilliant series. Well done Shaie!”
