They are Huddersfield’s two most famous landmarks. But both got a stunning makeover for the Tour de France weekend.

The Victoria Tower on Castle Hill and the Emley Moor TV mast were both illuminated as part of the arts festival to herald the Tour’s visit to Yorkshire and to Huddersfield.

And hundreds took the chance to capture the iconic buildings quite literally in a new light.

The work was done by lighting expert James Bawn, of AC Entertainment Technologies and his team.
