A MAN who grew up in Huddersfield has been charged with two murders in Ireland.
Mark Nash, 36, appeared before Dublin District Court charged with the murders of the two women at their home in Grangegorman, Dublin, 12 years ago.
Sylvia Shields and Mary Callinan were stabbed to death as they slept in sheltered accommodation in March 1997.
Mark Nash is a former pupil of All Saints High School in Bradley.
Mr Nash has been remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Friday morning.
