A MARSH man was mugged on his own doorstep.
At around 4:30am on Tuesday, the 20-year-old was unlocking the door to his Broomfield Road house after visiting his girlfriend.
Two men approached him and demanded his mobile phone.
When he refused, the man was punched to the ground. He handed over his phone and the two suspects ran from the scene.
The 20-year old described the suspects as two Asian men in their early to mid twenties.
One was of medium build, with a short beard and was wearing a black hooded top or leather jacket with the hood up. he was also wearing dark bottoms.
The second suspect was slim and wearing a white hooded top with the hood up. The top had a light coloured logo on the front. He too was also wearing dark bottoms.
