DOZENS of young Muslims from Huddersfield heard a talk on tolerance at the weekend.

Around 80 young people from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association travelled to Bradford’s New Mosque for the speech by Dr Ifitkhar Ayaz.

The former head of the group spoke about the new campaign Love For All, Hatred For None.

Dr Ayaz said: “The teachings of Islam include the obligation of the community to supplement the efforts of the Government to help those in need.

“According to Islam, whatever we have, we can purify it by spending it on the welfare of others.”

More than 300 young people from across West Yorkshire attended the event on Saturday evening.
