MUMS are set for a big push to raise cash to fight the baby blues.
Huddersfield National Childbirth Trust (NCT) is inviting people to take on a sponsored walk to boost its work helping new mums who are suffering from post-natal depression.
The disorder affects about 10% of mums with as many as eight out of 10 suffering from ‘baby blues’.
The Big Push is on Saturday May 14.
It will set off from the car park opposite Slaithwaite Co-op at 11am, along the canal tow path, finishing at Marsden.
Registration is £5 or £8 for a family.
