YOUNG women got some hands-on experience of life in the skies.
Nine Huddersfield New College AS students took part in a practical training day at Thomas Cook Airlines’ Cabin Crew Training Centre in Cheadle, Cheshire.
The students are taking a cabin crew course as part of their enrichment programme.
They learned about extinguishing fires andŠemergency landing procedures as well as performing the duties of cabin crew.
Teacher Amanda Beirne said: “Arranging a practical day gives our students a taster of being cabin crew and provides them with an opportunity to enhance their CV and career opportunities when they complete their college course.”
