Beacon status award for nursing home
A HUDDERSFIELD nursing home has won a top award.
Queensway in Kirkburton has received beacon status from the Care Homes Quality Hallmark awards.
The care home helps people with learning disabilities as they near the end of their lives.
Manager Dawn Moran said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious accolade. We have always prided ourselves on the excellent care we have provided for our clients.
“Getting beacon status has helped us take our care to the next level with enhanced knowledge and skills, ensuring our clients enjoy their lives and receive the high-quality care they want in their chosen place, right up to the end.”
