FOOD fans from Huddersfield have the chance to star on a TV show.
BBC 2 Daytime is screening a series of 20 shows called Instant Restaurant celebrating the new phenomenon of pop-up restaurants in homes.
A spokeswoman for the show said: “It will be presented by Nadia Sawalha and broadcasting will begin in January, but we’d like to film in Huddersfield later this month.
“The show follows amateur cooks as they set up a restaurant in their own home for one night only – and hopefully make a profit from paying diners.
“Unfortunately we’re unable to use people who work as chefs or cooks professionally, but we’re keen to hear from any keen amateur cooks who might be interested.’’
In each show two households go head to head with a three course menu to impress their guests, served up in the ambience of the “restaurant” they create for one night.
