POLICE found a cannabis farm at a house that had just been burgled.

Officers arrested three men and seized a suspected stolen car after being called to Prince Street in Primrose Hill in the early hours of today.

They were alerted after a witness reported four men breaking into the property.

It is alleged police saw the suspects leaving the house carrying stolen goods.

One escaped in a Vauxhall Corsa before returning to the scene.

On searching the property, which was unoccupied at the time of the break-in, the officers found between 50 and 100 cannabis plants along with growing equipment.

A Suzuki van allegedly stolen from Wellfield Road in Marsh was seized.

Three Halifax men, aged 18, 22 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of burglary. They were being questioned today.
