POLICE are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a missing Huddersfield man, Alan Holt.
Forty-year-old Mr Holt, from Dalton, was reported missing on October 2 but has not made contact with anyone for more than three weeks.
He was last seen at his home on Albany Road in Dalton on September 27 but was seen in the grounds of St Mary's Church, Mirfield on October 8.
At the time he was wearing a blue jumper and jeans and had a Lidl or Aldi carrier bag with him.
There have also been possible sightings of him on Woodhead Road in Lower Hopton on October 10 and at Sandal Grange in Wakefield on October 18.
Mr Holt is 5ft 8ins tall and of slim build.
He is balding with black hair at the back and sides.
He also has a tattoo on his left shoulder that reads, ‘On Fire’.
It is expected that he will now have an unkempt beard and a dishevelled appearance due to the time he has spent apparently sleeping rough since his disappearance.
Police believe that Mr Holt could be anywhere in West Yorkshire.
