HUDDERSFIELD Probus Club welcomed new president Colin Baldwin at its meeting at Huddersfield YMCA at Laund Hill.
Mr Baldwin was handed the chain of office by outgoing president Derek Mitchell.
Cambridge University educated Colin, a retired senior lecturer, founded the Huddersfield University for the Third Age.
Mr Baldwin, of Edgerton, has sat on various charity committees.
