SPORTING stars did their bit for a Huddersfield charity.

Former Town legend and now club ambassador Andy Booth was joined by members of the Huddersfield Giants squad in a stint at the Barnardo’s charity shop.

They were recruited by Post Office staff who took over the shop for a day and raised more than £2,000 for the charity.

The postal workers sold clothes, organised a raffle and held a street collection to boost the shop takings.
