Two Huddersfield brothers have denied charges of raping and sexually assaulting women in the town.

The teenagers aged 16 and 17, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared before Leeds Crown Court when a date was set for their trial.

The older brother denies sexually assaulting one woman on September 12 last year on his own, the pair then deny raping one woman and sexually assaulting another in October.

Finally they denied two charges of raping a fourth woman between November 27 and 30.

The teenagers were both remanded in custody to a young offender institution.

The trial estimated to last seven to eight days was fixed for May 16 by the Recorder of Leeds, Judge Peter Collier QC.
