TOWN players have stripped off to show supporters their bare essentials.

The players have bared all for a charity calendar as part of the Keep It Up campaign for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the town’s footballing academy.

The cheeky calendar sees some of the star players in a series of risque poses that won’t be seen on the pitch in the ‘Alternative Match Day’ shots.

Centre-back and skipper Peter Clarke said: “It was certainly something different – I think some of the lads enjoyed it actually because the whole idea of the calendar has been a bit tongue-in-cheek.

“It’s obviously for a great cause too and the more funds we can help raise for ‘Keep It Up’ the better, the fact it was for charity certainly helped persuade us all to do it.”

The calendar features 20 Town favourites selling programmes, acting as the fourth official and interviewing manager Lee Clark.

Striker Jordan Rhodes, midfielder Anthony Pilkington and keeper Alex Smithies are among those featured.

The A3 calendar costs £9.99 and is available at the Huddersfield Town retail outlets from this weekend.

All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be donated to the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign which raises money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Huddersfield Town Academy.
