David Wagner’s Town squad are hard at work preparing to take on Wolves in the Championship this weekend.

But the players took time out of their busy training schedule to meet up with many of their young fans.

There was a supporters’ “invasion” at the club’s Canalside training headquarters on Thursday when scores of young fans got the chance to get up close and personal with their heroes.

The get-together was organised by the club’s Blue and White Foundation and their members got the chance to have a great day out at Canalside.

The club laid on special entertainment for the youngest fans with Mark’s Magic Kingdom, who ran special fun shows.

There was also music, games, dancing and a lunch with special children’s meals.

But the highlight for the young fans and their parents was the chance to meet Wagner and all of the Town squad.

They happily posed for pictures with the young fans, signed photos and shirts, and chatted with the supporters.

A club spokesman said: “It was a really great day for all.”
