Huddersfield woodland being ruined by fly-tippers, man claims

FLY-TIPPING in Huddersfield woods is not being cleared up, a man has claimed.

Trevor Woodhead says several bags of rubbish were dumped in Round Wood, Waterloo, at the start of February.

But Mr Woodhead said he had complained about the tipping to Kirklees three times but some of it had still not been removed.

He said: “It’s a nice wood, the bluebells will be out in a few weeks.

“I’ve never seen people tipping before but I’ve had to clear a lot of it up myself.”
