ASPIRING model Devon Lewis wants Huddersfield to get behind him as he bids to become the UK’s Mr Perfect.

Devon, who lives with his twin brother Lance, in Rudding Street, Crosland Moor, is on the fast-track to success on the catwalk.

“Nobody is perfect but I am confident and believe in myself,” said Devon, 22.

“I think I can achieve what I want to achieve but I won’t get too carried away.”

Devon, a contract administrator for a financial firm in Leeds, is always being stopped and asked if he’s a model.

His twin, Lance, strutted his stuff on the catwalk a few years ago and Devon’s breakthrough can’t be far away.

He came third in the national final of Model Search UK in Warrington on Sunday.

And while he missed out on the title he was spotted by a model agency boss and will take part in the catwalk talent contest Mr Perfect UK at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool in March.

There is a £5,000 prize on offer and Devon said: “I haven’t had any formal model training but I’ve picked up what I need to from my brother.

“He’s my inspiration and so many people have suggested I try modelling I want to give it a shot.

“I am really proud to be representing Huddersfield.”

Devon, who twice auditioned with Lance for TV reality show ‘Big Brother’, is currently single and has no girlfriend to be jealous of the attention.

“I’m an easy going lad and I’m always happy, and I’ve had my fair share of fun,” he grinned.

Devon now needs a sponsor to pay £100 to cover his expenses in return for publicity. Log on to and he can be contacted on
