THEY’RE a group who believe that one good turn deserves another.

And the kind-hearted team behind One Good Turn in Huddersfield are hoping to receive a little support themselves.

The group, which aims to pass on unwanted household items and clothing to those who really need it, needs places to store items donated.

Sophia Crawshaw, founder of the 13-strong group, said: “We are appealing for storage and also someone with a van who can help us deliver items and help us out for petrol costs.

“What started out as a small group has grown and grown, we do much more than just pass items on.

“We’re working with Kirklees housing, Sure Start and the Women’s Refuge too – we’re acting as a signposting group for those who need extra help.”

The group meets at the Head of Steam on Wednesday mornings from 9.15am until 11.15am. The not-for-profit group are hoping to soon become a registered charity.
