THE BIGGEST talent show in town is back for a third year.

Huddersfield’s Got Talent returns to Honley Socialist Club in August in search of the town’s best singers, dancers, magicians and assorted performers.

The contest, which this year will raise cash for charity Missing People, is on August 6, 13, 20 and 27.

A £500 cash prize will be presented to the winner as well as a custom-made trophy.

The event has been organised by Huddersfield-born Scott Hallas, an X Factor contestant who got to the second stage of bootcamp.

Scott said: “Every year the contest has grown. Last year we had to shut the room early due to us being at capacity. I thought it would be a good idea to have a charity benefit from this and Missing People is a fantastic cause.”
