LIVE music is back with a bang.
The Huddstock charity music festival launched over the weekend with organisers handing out hundreds of balloons in the town centre.
Music lovers took part in a parade from the Dogma bar at Queensgate through the town centre to the Wall of Sound music shop where there was a gig.
Stilt-walkers and people in fancy dress handed out the balloons and flyers along the way.
Organiser Lucie Keeton said: “The whole day was really successful and we’re really excited.
“It was the first time we’ve done something like that to promote it and it was a nice way to get the message out there.
“The feedback we got was great and it was a lovely, sunny day so hopefully people will now associate Huddstock with nice weather.”
Saturday’s gig featured local favourites The Moot, Leo Brazil and duo Ruby and Noah.
The Huddstock line-up will be revealed next week in time for the June 6 festival at Arborary Lane in South Crosland.
