100s star in music festival
HUNDREDS of youngsters took part in a music festival over the weekend. Huddersfield Grammar School’s 10th Festival Of Music, Speech and Drama was held at the Marsh school and attracted pupils from schools across Kirklees. There was a mix of competitive and non-competitive classes. Friday and Saturday saw around 700 performances ranging from choirs and instrumental groups to individuals. The results will be in the Examiner later this week.
