A MAN'S car was damaged shortly after he told a couple to get out of his garden.

The 57-year-old victim was in the front room of his home on Sycamore Avenue in Golcar when he heard noises outside at 9.25pm on Monday.

He opened the front door and found a couple walking down his path.

He told them to leave, but the man picked up two handfuls of pebbles and threw them at the victim.

He went back inside, but a short time later discovered the back window smashed on his car.

The damage will cost £150 to repair.

The man who threw the pebbles is a mixed race man, 5ft 2in and stocky.

He wore a blue top with white stripes on the sleeves, blue tracksuit bottoms and a blue baseball cap.

The woman with him is white, aged about 30, 5ft 6in and stocky with a spotty complexion and bleached blonde hair in a ponytail.

She wore a white fleece jacket and white trousers.
