A YOB sprayed a train with graffiti when it stopped at Deighton Station.
And now British Transport Police are trying to find witnesses who saw the man in action.
He struck when the Selby to Huddersfield train pulled into the station at 4.20pm on New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31.
PC Craig Virco, leading the investigation, said: “The outside of the train was subjected to extensive graffiti vandalism during the train’s journey between Deighton and Huddersfield, shortly before 4.20pm.
“The vandal used silver spray paint to cause damage to the exterior of the train carriage in several places, daubing it with lettering 3ft high and 15ft wide.
“I am appealing for anyone who saw any damage being caused or anyone acting suspiciously, to come forward with information.”
