SOMEONE in Huddersfield is sitting on a million.

A lucky punter in the EuroMillions raffle hasn’t come forward to claim his or her winnings – and that’s a cool £1m!

The National Lottery is now hunting for the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle winner who is a secret millionaire.

One of the winners from the draw on Christmas Day, when The National Lottery created 25 millionaires in one night with the Christmas EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw, has still to check their ticket and claim their prize.

Lottery bosses have confirmed the ticket was bought in Huddersfield, but will not disclose the exact location of the sale.

Now players in Huddersfield are being urged to check and double-check their EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle selection for the chance to become an instant millionaire.

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle selection printed on their ticket.

The winning selection on Christmas Day was FXQ519800.

The lucky ticket-holder has until Sunday, June 23, to make their claim.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest the prize has generated, will go to the Good Causes – adding to the £29bn already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.

Lottery show presenter Myleene Klass said: “The clock is ticking so it is time to hunt high and low for your ticket – as you could be a millionaire.

“Everyone hides their lottery ticket somewhere special and it is time to dig yours out and check whether you have been a millionaire since Christmas Day.”

A National Lottery spokesman added: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings.

“This amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life as they start 2013.

“Being able to guarantee two UK millionaires every week with Millionaire Raffle, plus 25 each from the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day draws is fantastic and we’re urging everyone to check their old EuroMillions tickets.

“Look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
