AN EVENT to help smokers quit was held in Marsden.
Hypnotherapist Debbie Taylor-Payne hosted the day as part of National No Smoking Day at the Colne Valley Clinic in Marsden.
During the day Debbie, who also has a clinic in Marsh, was on hand to offer advice and free consultations to smokers wanting to kick the habit.
Debbie decided to host the day to encourage those who’s New Year’s resolutions to quit had failed to have another bash.
She said: “The National No Smoking event was a great success, it really helped encourage people to get the help they needed.”
The day also aimed to highlight how effective hypnotherapy can be at helping people who have tried other methods to stop smoking in the past but failed.
