ICE CREAM producer Yummy Yorkshire has fundraising for Town all licked.

The Huddersfield-based firm has donated £150 to Town’s third annual charity bike ride, The Pink Link Ltd Pedal 4 Pounds 3, bringing the total amount raised by The Pink Link this year to just over £17,000.

The ride saw 300 cyclists travel 260 miles from Huish Park, Yeovil, to the Galpharm Stadium to raise funds for the ‘Keep It Up’ Campaign in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Town’s Academy.

Yummy Yorkshire’s ice cream parlour near High Flatts was on the final leg of the cycle route and on the concluding day of the challenge, the firm supplied Richard Allen, managing director of The Pink Link, and his team of cyclists, with cups of tea and bacon butties.

The ride is expected to raise more than £250,000 in total.
