Supermarket giants Iceland, Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and Waitrose have recalled 43 frozen food products following an outbreak of the deadly listeria bug.
Frozen sweetcorn is believed to be the source of the deadly listeriosis bacteria which has struck the UK and four other European countries.
According to the European Food Standards Agency nine people have died as a result of ingesting the bacteria.
While the foodborne bug listeriosis is rare it is particularly harmful to people with weaker immune systems such as babies, pregnant women and older people.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has now published a list of 43 items which may contain the bug and, as a result, are being recalled.
An FSA spokesperson said: "Some people are more vulnerable to listeria infections, including those over 65 years of age, pregnant women and their unborn babies, babies less than one month old and people with weakened immune systems.
"If you have bought any of the above products do not eat them.
"Instead, return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund."
