EVER spotted someone driving like an idiot and wished you could do something about it?

Well now you can, thanks to a new website set up to help people shop bad drivers.

Website BetterDriving Please.com allows members of the public to report details of vehicles they have seen being driven dangerously.

Road safety campaigner Andrew McGavin set up the site.

He said: “How many times have you followed someone driving like a total idiot and wished there was a police car nearby?

“Now you can report that person yourself.”

Nationally, there are more than 3,300 reports of bad driving logged on the site.

In West Yorkshire Leeds has had 50 reports logged and 10 drivers have been reported in Bradford.

Huddersfield is one of the few places in the UK with no reports so far.

But the site founders are sure there are dodgy drivers in our area and want people to report them.

Some of the reports include a driver racing another car during rush hour in Bradford, a speeding driver bullying other drivers and a taxi driver getting road rage and harassing a driving instructor who was teaching a manoeuvre.

Although BetterDriving Please.com is a new idea in Britain the concept has been used in other countries for some time.

New Zealand has a similar website and drivers logged on it have been found 23 times more likely to crash within a year of being reported.
