ROBBERS kicked a man on crutches to the ground in a vicious daylight attack.

The 45-year-old was walking through a ginnel between Willans Road and Springfield Terrace in Cleckheaton when he was set upon at about 1.25pm on Thursday.

He heard voices behind him before his left leg and crutches were kicked from under him. One of the attackers than grabbed him in a headlock and threatened him with further violence if he tried to move.

He was also kicked in the head while he was on the ground, giving him a nose bleed.

His attackers took a wallet containing a small amount of cash.

Both were Asian men. One was aged 25 to 30, had stubble and was stockily built.He was wearing a dark coloured sweater and spoke with a local accent.

The second man was about 23 years-old, about 6ft tall and slim.

He wore white trainers, dark tracksuit bottoms and a light coloured hooded top with vertical blue stripes and had a local accent.

A third man kept watch on Springfield Terrace.

Police want to talk to witnesses or anyone who may know the attackers.
