AN INQUEST into the death of former prostitute Shelley Armitage was due to open today.

Ms Armitage, 31, is one of three suspected murder victims of Bradford man Stephen Griffiths.

She went missing from the city on April 26.

Remains of the sex worker, who worked in Huddersfield for a period last year, were found in the River Aire in Shipley in June.

An inquest into the death of fellow prostitute Suzanne Blamires, 36, was also due to start at Bradford Coroner’s Court this morning.

Griffiths, 40, is charged with murdering both women, as well as prostitute Susan Rushworth, 43, whose body has not yet been found.

He is due at Bradford Crown Court in October.
