AN INQUEST into the death of a woman who was killed by her partner was due to be opened today.
The body of mother-of-two Marie Stewart, 30, was found stuffed in a suitcase in the garage of her house in Perseverance Place, Holmbridge, on February 13.
She had been missing since before Christmas.
A post-mortem revealed she had died from multiple stab wounds and blows from a blunt object.
Her partner, Andrew Lindo, 28, has admitted killing her, but has denied her murder.
At a court appearance last month, his lawyers said he was prepared to plead guilty to a manslaughter charge.
He is due to stand trial for murder later this year.
The inquest was due to open in Bradford this morning.
