A BUILDING society has unveiled a new-look in its Huddersfield branch.
The branch of the Nationwide Building Society at the corner of Kirkgate and Market Place has been refurbished as part of a £300m programme to revamp branches across the UK.
The refit includes an open-plan design, an internet banking terminal to enable members to manage accounts on-line and a self- service till to pay in and withdraw cash and cheques.
Long-standing members George and Joyce Hindle cut a ribbon to mark the completion of the refit.
The ceremony was also attended by branch manager Richard Waite, regional operations director Jim Willens and staff members Annette Livesey and Donna Drew.
Mr and Mrs Hindle have been members of the Nationwide for 43 years.
