ENGLISH and Italian cultures will merge together this St George’s Day in Brighouse.
A three-day Italian festival will run in the town from April 23 to April 25.
It will run alongside the town’s St George’s Day events.
The street market will be held on Bradford Road outside the Civic Hall, which will be closed off to traffic for its duration.
So far 10 traders have been confirmed and stalls will feature Italian food, clothing and jewellery.
It follows on from last year’s successful French markets and councillors hope to host more street markets in the future.
The street market will run alongside the planned events for St George’s Day, including the annual Scouts Parade on Sunday.
