A CHURCH is inviting people to donate items for an auction to be held next month.
Annual auctions at Helme Church on Slades Lane, Helme, have so far proved very to be successful – last year raising approximately £4000, with proceeds going to the church.
This year the church is relying on your generosity in providing items to auction.
Pat Redford, District Church Council Treasurer, 60, said: “Anything can be donated from furniture to a box of chocolates. This can be quite a good evening but of course we need the people and the goods to make it as successful as it has been in the past.”
The auction is to be held on Friday, 30 November at 6.30pm.
Entrance is £5 and includes supper.
