It's boxing day before Christmas

A HUDDERSFIELD fitness centre is doing its bit to help African

children have a happy Christmas. Motorcise, on New Street, has collected 100 shoe boxes full of toys

and gifts for this year's Operation Christmas Child appeal. Members brought in items, while staff helped by assembling the

contents. The centre has been collecting for Operation Christmas Child for the

past three years. The boxes are to be picked up next month and will be distributed to

the needy throughout Africa. Staff thanked members for their "endless generosity and enthusiasm

for the project". The project, run by Samaritan's Purse, has brought Christmas joy to

more than 47 million children.
