A MAN who got two eight-year-old boys to pose for him while he took indecent photos has been jailed.

Philmore Bristol, 23, enticed them into his home and took photos on his mobile phone.

Now he has been jailed for three-and-a-half years and put on the Sex Offenders' Register.

Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday how the boys had been playing soccer near Bristol's home on Walpole Road, Crosland Moor.

Prosecutor Richard Clews said it was not clear how the boys ended up in Bristol's garden, but the accused - who had no previous convictions for sexual offences - invited them into the house.

Bristol asked the boys if they played with themselves, then showed images on his phone of men and women performing oral sex.

Mr Clews said Bristol then took down his trousers and exposed himself, before asking the boys if they wanted to touch him.

He then asked the boys to take down their pants and one did because he was frightened.

"The defendant took the other boy's pants down himself and told them to pose," said Mr Clews. "He then took photographs of them with his camera mobile phone.

"He took a photo of each boy from the front, showing their genitals, and then told them to turn round."

Mr Clews said Bristol tried to put his hands inside their clothing.

Two camera phones were seized from Bristol's home, but no indecent images were found. In an interview in which Bristol admitted being a homosexual, he indicated he may have deleted some images.

Bristol's barrister, Alex Offer, said his client had indicated his guilty pleas to a series of offences at an early stage and had thereby spared the boys further anxiety.

He said Bristol's actions were a stupid mistake. It had been an unsophisticated and spur-of-the-moment incident.

Bristol admitted causing a child to watch a sexual act, taking an indecent pseudo-photograph of a child, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and sexual assault.

Bristol has been in custody since his arrest in September and those 149 days will count towards his jail sentence.
