TWO works by the Spanish artist Jaume Plensa will remain at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP) although the exhibition has finished.

Wonderland I (1993) and illuminated sculpture La Llarga Nit (Blind) (2010) have been lent to the park by the artist for long-term loan.

The two sculptures are the latest addition to YSP’s open-air collection, which includes Antony Gormley’s One & Other (2000) Martin Creed’s Work No. 700 (2007) and Madalena Abakanowicz’s Ten Seated Figures (2010) among many others.

The Jaume Plensa exhibition has been one of YSP’s most successful to date, bringing record numbers to the park.

It was the first UK exhibition on Plensa’s work. More than 250,000 visitors have enjoyed the exhibition and it reached thousands more through social media since it opened in April 2011.
