A housing association with properties across Kirklees and Calderdale has secured a new £25m funding package.

Jephson Housing Association, which has its northern offices at Lowfields Business Park, Elland, has agreed a five-year credit deal with Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.

It is expected to use the new funding to progress several development projects.

The social housing provider, which includes properties in Holmfirth and Dewsbury, was formed more than 30 years ago and now manages more than 16,000 homes across England.

Group finance director David Blower said: “This funding package will help deliver our development strategy and provide more affordable homes for rent and help people onto the first step of home ownership.”
