Irreplaceable jewellery worth thousands of pounds has been stolen by burglars who struck at a Calderdale home.
Now police have urged people to look out for the jewellery, which may be offered for sale.
The theft occurred last weekend in Todmorden.
The items stolen include a gold and diamond pendant necklace, an engraved silver bracelet, a freshwater pearl necklace, a white gold and pink sapphire necklace, a sapphire and diamond ring.
Also stolen were a Seiko Quartz diving watch, a Timex gents’ watch, cufflinks, a Sekonda pocket watch and a silver watch chain.
Police officers have released images of some of the items taken.
Det Con Craig Aubrey of Calderdale CID, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident but also to anyone offered jewellery for sale in a deal that ‘sounds too good to be true’
“Many of these items are of a very important sentimental value to the owners and are irreplaceable.”
