John Smiths Stadium contravision signage completed in Huddersfield

THE final new signs have been erected at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium.

And it could hardly be clearer who they are backing.

The brewery giant, which has sponsored the stadium since August, has erected a massive “Cheers to Huddersfield” sign across the entire frontage of the main entrance.

It is in contravision which means people inside can still see out.

A John Smith’s spokesman said: “The message is clear, that we are supporting both Huddersfield Town and Huddersfield Giants”.
