ARE you the lucky punter due to pick up almost £¼m?

Someone in Kirklees is owed that money from the National Lottery – but they’d better hurry up.

The mystery winner has only until tomorrow to collect his or her winnings and after that it gets handed over to help good causes.

Officials at Camelot, who run the National Lottery, have been searching for the mystery winner since September 19 last year when he or she matched five numbers and the bonus ball.

They know it was bought in Kirklees but cannot name the shop as it contravenes rules on winner confidentiality.

But the winner has not come forward to claim the Lotto prize worth £224,606.

The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 18, 20, 31, 33, 43, 45 and the bonus ball was 1.

The prize deadline is now 5.30pm tomorrow.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the Good Causes – adding to the £24 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this amazing prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the last minute to claim the money.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing Lotto ticket could be hiding.

“This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.”

As with all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
