MORE than 2,000 over- 60s in Kirklees have benefited from a scheme offering free cavity wall and loft insulation.
The Keep Warm Scheme (Kirklees Energy Efficiency Programme) has been so successful that all the grants for this financial year have been allocated.
It is hoped that the energy-saving scheme will run again after April.
Householders already on the waiting list will be kept informed, said Kirklees Council.
