THESE two men are thought to be part of a five-strong kidnap gang who tried to bundle their victim into a car.
They struck as their 32-year-old victim walked along the lower section of Blacker Road in Birkby.
Police said the victim was approached by another man, who began talking to him, and suddenly four other men surrounded him.
They grabbed him, threatened him and tried to force him into the boot of a car, but he managed to escape and fled.
Det Con Dave Kinghorn, of Huddersfield CID, said: “The area was quite busy at the time and we believe there may have been witnesses to what happened.”
All five gang members were Asian.
One was in his late 20s, about 5ft 7ins tall and slim, with short black hair and a grey goatee beard. He was wearing a three-quarter length duffel coat, dark trousers and black shoes.
Another was in his early 20s, about 5ft 7ins tall and chubby, with short black hair. He was wearing a maroon T-shirt.
The third was in his mid-20s, 6ft tall and slim, with short black hair and was wearing a short black jacket with an emblem on the chest and dark trousers.
Another was in his early 20s, about 5ft 9ins tall and slim and wearing a hat.
The victim believes the car they were using may have been a people carrier.
The terrifying incident happened about 10.10pm on July 13 but details have just been released.
