HEAVY rain and winds failed to halt a summer fair at Meltham C of E School.
Children enjoyed bouncy castles, burgers, samba drums and fruit kebabs.
There was a good attendance to see the Year 6 children organise Olympic-themed games and a fancy dress parade.
As well as raising over £1,700 for school funds, it was a fantastic event where children, parents grandparents and staff could get together for an evening of fun and games.
