YOUNGSTERS in Kirklees have been having fun and keeping their cool during the summer holidays.
More than 550 children, aged between five and 13, joined in a giant fun day at Bradley Woods Scout Camp, Brighouse, for National Play Day.
Activities organised by Kirklees Council's young people's services included archery, arts and crafts, an assault course, glass painting and kite making.
The children were from after-school clubs and holiday schemes across Kirklees.
