A MAN has been charged with a spate of burglaries – including the theft of a charity box.
Jason Allen, 31, of Turnshaw Avenue in Kirkburton is accused of a burglary at St John’s Court on April 10, the burglary of a nearby hairdressers which contained the charity box and another burglary in St John’s Court on April 22. He appeared by video link at Huddersfield Crown Court having been recently remanded in custody. There was no application for bail. He will appear at Bradford Crown Court on July 9 at 10am.
