A NEW publication to help local residents make decisions on long-term care is now available.

The Kirklees Care Services Directory 2013 has just been published.

The booklet, produced by the council in partnership with Care Choices Ltd, is packed with information outlining all available care options in the district.

It includes comprehensive listings of care providers for both residential care and care in people’s own homes. There is also guidance on paying for care and what financial assistance is available from the Government.

Publisher Robert Chamberlain said: “When choosing care, you should be armed with the most up-to-date information to help you decide which kind of care is most suitable, who will provide it and how it is to be funded.

“The Care Services Directory is an invaluable source of information for anyone considering long-term care.”

The company also has a free public information service giving independent advice on care, accommodation, funding and rights.Š Call freephone 0800 389 2077 for details.
