A HUDDERSFIELD benefits advisor is up for a national award.
Kirklees Council worker, Jim Fletcher, has been chosen as a finalist for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Professional of the Year award.

He said: “Over the last 10 years I’ve developed a special interest in helping people suffering from MS.
“I work with very closely with the MS specialist up at St Luke’s Hospital. Basically I get them more money.
“Quite often people are forced to give up work so I help them get the right benefits.”
